Spanner Bits

Spanner bits for removal and/or replacement of scales.  Comes as a set of two. 

Recommended to insert one in each side of the fastener and slowly loosen the screw.

We are aware some customers use our knives in extreme work conditions, so we try to make sure the scales are secure.  We torque the fasteners to 12 in.lbs; about hand tight. The fasteners have a fine thread, and some can be more difficult to remove than others.  When we remove them in the shop, we insert a bit in both sides and slowly apply pressure twisting the male fastener side.  The Right scale when looking down on the spine.  The process is shown in one of our videos on YouTube.  https://youtu.be/rTWrlYiorpc
