What is a Blem Blade? Let us explain:)
First, we always want to start by saying thank you for your support!
Prior to 2022, we had not sold any of our blemished knives, they were placed in storage collecting dust. A customer asked if we had any "Guardian seconds." We had never thought to sell these cosmetic blem blades, but after further inspection we thought, these tools are 100% functional! Actually, most of our blems are logo errors or inconsistent blade finishes, etc. and these blemishes do not impact performance at all! So, in turn, we put these blades online and waiting for your feedback. Your feedback was overwhelmingly positive.
Now we have Blem Days:) Here's how we prepare- We assemble the blems weeks or months prior to the sale and box them for delivery. We then pull the knives randomly to fulfill orders, so the steel, grind, finish, and scales are random. As mentioned, any imperfection is purely cosmetic. The blem could be a scratch, logo mistake, visual spot or imperfection on the surface, DLC, PVD, or Cerakote coating, or similar cosmetic issue. Please know all blades are heat treated and sharpened with our regular blades and will absolutely perform to our standards.
