This is the FIRST knife Brad ever designed. We call this blade 'The Gatsby' because of its luxurious finish. It is fully buffed, adding lots of time & attention to the spine and handle. These blades are timeless and a special piece to bring to a steak house and enjoy at home. They add delight to your culinary experience.
The Gatsby are designed as the signature tool in the kitchen or at a table. The Gatsby has handle scales and spacers that are hand polished to a smooth finish to bring out the upgraded quality. We have taken great care and time to smooth our proof of tooling marks and manufacturing finishes to create this unique model. The polished steel flows evenly over a white spacer and against the polished micarta or Carbon Fiber scales. With this time consuming detail, the Gatsby is very comfortable and easy to use during a meal. Also, expanding our production run from prior years, the Gatsby is now available in both a Satin Stonewashed and a High Polished finish.
After years of small batch productions that sell out quickly, we are releasing the Gatsby in new colors and a new steel. This production run uses the great N690 Stainless steel designed by Böhler-Uddeholm AG.
As with all our knives, we recommend hand washing and lightly oil the blade between use for maintenance.
The Gatsby ships with a cardboard sleeve to protect the blade, we recommend adding a kydex for improved edge protection while traveling or storing the knife in a drawer.
